Postpartum Doula Support

The first weeks postpartum are filled with wonder as you marvel at your newborn baby. It can also be an extremely challenging time for new families. Our postpartum Doulas are here to help you navigate the new, and sometimes uncertain, challenges of this precious time.

Our Postpartum Doulas go into the home and help for the first few weeks with mother care, breastfeeding, newborn care and instruction. They also offer resources and give general family and household support.

They are a helping hand and a listening ear when families need it the most!

Postpartum Doula Support Packages and Fees

Our Postpartum Doulas will provide a free consultation. Once you decide on the doula for you, she will then provide one prenatal intake visit, if your baby/babies are already here then there will be one intake visit. The approximately two hour intake visit will be at your home to discuss your needs during the postpartum period.

Your Postpartum Doula will provide you with information on feeding (breast or bottle), tasks that she will need to cover during the postpartum visits and to establish scheduling. Doing this helps to build a trusting relationship between the family and their Postpartum Doula. Along with the postpartum preparation, you and your doula will discuss your thoughts and feelings on parenting styles and the way you want to become a new family unit!
